Picture Clips

Clips are used for many different reasons in classrooms such as to assign jobs, stations, behavior methods, etc.  In pre-k and kindergarten some students may not be able to recognize their names yet, so having their picture next to their name is a great way for them to know which clip is theirs.  They are easy to make and all the teacher has to do is write the students name on a clothes pin, take their picture, print it out, then cut out their head and glue it on the end of the clothes pin next to their name.  I also believe that this may help students get to know and memorize the students names and faces in their class.  Not only will they see their name and face together so there is no confusion on which clip is theirs, but they will also constantly see their classmates. –Bluebonnet Elementary Kindergarten class
